About Me!

Hi! In 1981 my husband and I moved from the busy city of Vancouver, BC to our oasis on Kamloops Lake. We left the fast lane and bright lights to live totally off grid! I guess you could say we were “green” long before “green” was fashionable! We power our home with solar panels and a windmill, with a back up generator! We have shared our home with very special ‘fur babies’, Mickie  is our 6 year old Chocolate Lab who travels everywhere with us!

Moving to our paradise rekindled my love of photography I had as a child, but working full time and the daily chores of ‘off grid’ living did not allow much time for ‘shooting’! We were lucky to be able to retire in 2008 and since then have been fortunate to travel throughout Canada and the USA in our motor home…..living like gypsies, going wherever we felt like, usually following the hottest, sunniest weather!!

My love of photography has finally had a chance to blossom and I love to share the beauty we have been lucky enough to see! My original reason for starting a blog was due to requests for pictures and stories of our travels. What a great way to keep in touch with family and friends!

As I said, I love being able to share our adventures with you.  I do sell all occasion photo cards, prints and matted prints on request. I also have a website: wendy-elliott.artistwebsites.com where you can purchase images.
